Rotational Power Training

A band option for home or at the gym.

Excellent for training fast twitch fibers. Really valuable as we age as these are the fibers we lose that lead to losses in speed and strength.

We must do some high speed movements all the way throughout life to maintain our athleticism as much as possible.

It is also a nice exercise for thoracic mobility, as the band pulls you into thoracic rotation in the wind up phase.

I like how the tension on the bands enable a very fast wind up. Rapid stretching of the muscles and tendons followed by maximal effort shortening is super for power development.

A fully body exercise with contribution from the legs, trunk, and upper body.

A great high speed exercise to include in your training routine, and also a nice way to finish a warm up at home before heading to the course.
